He was born into a family deeply integrated into the agricultural and religious fabric of a small village surrounded by 300 families. As the eighth child among ten siblings, he navigated significant social and economic barriers from a very young age. His academic journey continued at Loyola College in Vijayawada for pre-university education, followed by a Bachelor's in Pharmacy from Andhra University. Career

His professional journey began at Hoechst in Mumbai, where he engaged in a comprehensive rotational internship that covered various aspects of pharmaceutical production and laboratory research. A position at Bharat Salt and Chemicals in Orissa followed this foundational experience. In 1977, seeking broader opportunities, he emigrated to the United States, armed with ambition and determination.

Starting with entry-level positions, he swiftly advanced to major pharmaceutical companies like PurePack (now known as Teva) and Barr Labs. By 1978, he was managing production at ICN Pharmaceuticals. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Able Labs in 1984, where he navigated initial challenges to successfully secure FDA approvals for significant generic products, including Tranxene tablets and Monistat suppositories.

Since 2003, he has lent his expertise as an advisor to KVK Tech, guiding the company in its strategic mission to develop and manufacture accessible, high-quality, FDA-approved pharmaceuticals. His strategic insights have enabled KVK Tech to maintain its leadership in the competitive pharmaceutical industry.
